VISD is excited to announce the official launch of the 2023-24 Attendance Data Dashboard, a powerful and transparent digital tool designed to reinforce our commitment to student success and provide unparalleled access to crucial information. This dashboard offers real-time insights into attendance trends, fostering collaboration among educators, parents, and administrators to improve student attendance and create a more engaging and productive learning environment.

VISD is proud to congratulate six incredible students who have been selected to represent VISD’s Visual Arts Department at this year’s Texas Association of School Administrators/Texas Association of School Boards Convention in Dallas September 29-October 1.

SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS

The month of September marks the nationwide observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness. In partnership with Gulf Bend Center, the counseling department provides multiple opportunities for staff to attend the Youth Mental Health First Aid training.
